Introduction

This is a territorial acquisition board game for two player when one side handle the Chaldea side and the other one handle the Okeanos side. The concept of the game is Chaldea is a kingdom of a land, ready to conquer another land where Okeanos is an invader from the sea, ready to devour a new land.

The goal of this game is to capture enemy's capital. There is also 3 bases which can be captured but that would not end the game, but only give advantage to the bearer of the base.

The board game

Setup

To start the game, place 1 quantuple counter and 5 single counter in the side of the capital. Then determine which player goes first and the game starts.

Starting the game

Gameplay

Player allocates reinforcements (Starting on the 2nd turn), each turn they have 2 single counter reinforcements and placed on the side of the capital. Player can also merge troops for example by combining 3 single counters into one triple counter.

Player can move up to 3 tiles for each counter, but for each 2 troops, there will be movement reduction for 1 tile. For example, 1 triple counter troop can only move up to 2 tiles while a single counter troop can move up to 3 tiles.

Combat

Combat is resolved by throwing a single D6 dice from each player. A combat occur when one troop facing each other. The winner of the combat is determined by the highest number of the dice. If the dice result is draw, then nothing happen and each player roll the dice again.

In this case, Okeanos troop (left) is winning the battle and Chaldea troop (right) is destroyed.

Capturing the base

To capture the base, player need 3 troops with minimum of one 1 quintuple counter troop to occupy the tiles surrounding the base, for 2 turns.
However enemy can intercept and occupy the other tile beside the base, then the player need to get rid of the enemy and occupy the surrounding tiles for 2 turns again.

Example of how to capture the base

Capturing the capital

Same method as to capture the base but this time, it needs two quintuple troops and four single troops to capture the capital which is the winning condition of the game.
